Two courts & a bucket of balls
Maya and Dev rent a tennis court on Baseline Ave, tape lines on the surface and invite twelve friends. By week six there's a waiting list and a group chat that never sleeps.
We started with two borrowed courts and a bucket of balls. Today we're Austin's home for pickleball — twelve courts, a pro shop run by players, and a community that plays loud.
Dink District began as a weekend habit between friends who couldn't find a court — and couldn't find honest advice on gear. So we built both.

Players kept asking which paddle to buy, so we opened a small shop beside the courts — with one rule: every paddle can be demoed on court before it goes in your bag.

We hire from the club, sponsor city leagues and give 1% of every sale to youth courts in Austin.
Our shelf is short on purpose. If a product can't survive a season of league nights, it doesn't make the cut.
